We strive to create the best results possible for all of our clients. It is extremely important to understand which permanent make up is best for each type of skin. Candidates for permanent make up should have skin that is healthy, strong, and free of any irritation. Those clients with compromised skin condition or pre-existing medical conditions should seek medical advice.
If you have or experience any of the following, you should NOT have this procedure done:
SKIN CONDITIONS:
- Ingrown hairs and open bumps on eyebrow- injured skin cannot be tattooed.
- Eczema
- Psoriasis
- Dermatitis
- Rosacea
- Severely oily skin on eyebrows- (Microblading will not last. Instead Microshading)
- Large pores on your forehead & eyebrow area
- Have moles/raised areas or piercings in or around the brows
- Deep wrinkles in the brow area
- Hair Transplant for your eyebrows
- Shingles
- Fitzpatrick Skin type 1 (red heads, translucent skin)- due to hypersensitivity and thinness, this skin type does not take the color well.
- Accutane or Retin-A (acne medication) within the last year
- Tanned or Sunburn Skin
- Use of Latissee or any growth serum conditioner for brows
MEDICAL CONDITIONS:
- Pregnant or nursing
- Hemophilia
- Heart Conditions, Pace maker, Defibrillator-
- Body runs hot
- Bleeding Disorders
- Thyroid conditions
- Auto Immune Disorders
- Trichotillomania
MEDICATIONS:

It is important to share any medical condition, medications taken and any skin conditions during or prior to your consultation. Additional touch up (more in cost) will be required and or poor results if information is not disclosed.
ADDITIONAL APPOINTMENT INFO:
- Must be 18 years or older. (NON-NEGOTIABLE. NYS LAW)
- Brows should stay dry and away from water for 48 hours.
- After two weeks, you can safely wash your eyebrows and pat dry for 30 days.
- If you are going to have an MRI within 3 months after your appointment, please discuss with your doctor before getting procedure.
- Microblading normally requires multiple procedures. For best results clients will return 6-8 weeks after initial procedure for a touch up.
- Numbing cream is used however there still may be some sensitivity or discomfort during the procedure.
- Skin may be red after procedure.
Things to avoid prior to the procedure:
- No alcohol consumption 24 hours prior to the treatment.
- Vitamin E, Fish oils, Herbals, Aspirins should be avoided as they thin the blood.
- Spices such as Black pepper, cardamon, Ginger, Cayenne, Cinnamon, Garlic, Horseradish, Mustard.
- No Electrolysis for at least 5 days before procedure.
- Botox, AHA, and retinoid (OK only if done 2 weeks before procedure).
- Exfoliating treatments (2 weeks before procedure).
- Chemical and Laser Peels (6 weeks before procedure).
- Patients with cold sores/fever blisters should take anti-viral prior to treatment.
Healing Process:
- Day 1: "WOW!"
- Day 2-4: "OMG way too dark and too thick". Eyebrows get darker over these few days but they WILL lighten again.
- Day 5-8: Eyebrows begin to flake and scabbing off. DO NOT pick or remove the scabs. This will remove the pigment.
- Day 9-10: "My brows are gone!" Your eyebrows will appear like disappeared but don't worry they are there! This is part of the healing process for permanent makeup.
- Day 11-28: "Why are they back so patchy?" Your eyebrows will reappear with a patchy and incomplete look during this part of the healing process.
- Day 45 (after touch up): "They are so beautiful!" After the touch up gaps are filled and adjustments are made to make sure that they are perfect!

After care instructions:
Please follow these instructions for 14 days after the procedure to improve the results of your microblading. Failure to follow these instructions can affect the results or put you at risk for infection.
- Avoid getting anything on the brows, including water.
- Do not soak the treated area in a bath, pool, or hot tub for 30 days. Refrain from swimming in salt water or chlorinated pools, saunas, hot yoga, steam rooms, or sun beds.
- No exercise for 1 week. After 1 week you must use a sweat band to prevent sweat from touching brows.
- Do not expose treated area to direct sunlight for 30 days.
- No makeup should be applied directly to brows during healing process.
- Aftercare products are provided.
- Do not touch, rub, or pick on the eyebrows.
- Botox, Chemical peels, facials should be done 30 days after the touch up.
